Hilarie Burton, who is guest starring in tomorrow’s episode of “Lethal Weapon,” opened up about what it was like to work with Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford on the set of the FOX buddy cop series.

“I can’t tell you how much I love Damon Wayans,” Burton told TVLine of the actor who plays Roger Murtaugh on the show. “He was incredibly kind to me and I may have geeked out over my ’90s memories of ‘Major Payne’ and ‘In Living Color.’ He’s an icon!”

As for her experience working with Clayne Crawford, who portrays Martin Riggs on the show, the 34-year-old “One Tree Alum” said: “Clayne was so fun to play off of. We were a couple of rowdy Southern kids chasing bad guys!”

Burton plays Karen Palmer, an agent for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), in the show’s Season 1, episode 7. “I envisioned her as a woman with older brothers,” Burton said of her role. “[She’s] someone who is not intimidated by a pack of dudes, but who gets easily frustrated when they start teasing her.”

According to the synopsis for the episode, titled “Fashion Police,” Riggs and Murtaugh become involved in an “exceptionally dangerous underground investigation” led by Palmer after following a trail of evidence in the murder of a fashion expeditor.

The DEA agent, however, makes it clear in the preview clip for the episode that she has no interest in teaming up with the two cops, who she both finds reckless.

“I cannot have a couple of cowboys throwing bombs at my investigation just to see what they can blow up,” Karen tells Captain Avery (Kevin Rahm).

Despite Karen’s request to get Riggs and Murtaugh out of the investigation, it seems that the two continue to work on the case, as the latter part of the teaser shows them looking for some sort of drugs. Although they don’t find what they are looking for, the pair discovers a pile of cold cash secretly hidden behind a wall.

“Lethal Weapon” Season 1, episode 7 airs on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
